Prior to this role, Abdullah contributed over a decade at OQ, one of Oman’s flagship integrated energy companies, where he specialized in talent management, performance enhancement, and workforce planning. Abdullah’s proven methodology includes implementing competency frameworks, conducting rigorous skill gap analyses, and driving focused learning and development programs. He has championed initiatives that empower Omanis to develop professionally and prepare for progressively challenging roles, fully aligned with national Omanization policies.

Expertise Rooted in Extensive Training and Progressive Career Progression

With a career spanning over 30 years, Abdullah’s foundational experience began in the AirForce Technical College (AFTC) as a Radar Engineer and progressed through multiple technical, training, and advisory roles then promoted as an Readar Instructor for his professional experience . Moving to Oil/Gas industry successfully establishing the Occidental Mukhaiznah Training Center, where he managed and trained more than 600 fresh graduates in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation ,and Operation disciplines.

His educational credentials with Mechatronics background include an MBA from Malaysia, UK,, alongside an ongoing Master’s degree focused on Renewable and Hydrogen Energy from Muscat University. Also a DBA in management and HR from Lancaster and Leeds university UK, PhD researcher student in Banasthali University.


Abdullah is also a certified professional coach, trainer, Psychological and international Arbitration Councillor , and holds multiple leadership and project planning certifications, all contributing to his holistic approach to development and performance excellence.
