Currently serving as Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Social Responsibility at Salalah Port Services Company (Port of Salalah), Ali’s career is a testament to his unwavering commitment to integrity, innovation, and the well-being of the Omani community.

Career Journey: From Finance to Corporate Affairs

Ali began his professional journey in 1986 at the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, where he quickly rose through the ranks in the General Directorate of Financial and Administrative Affairs. Over the years, he gained comprehensive experience in all aspects of financial management, including accounts, revenues, expenditures, payroll, and administrative coordination. His expertise in financial oversight, budgeting, and internal controls made him a trusted leader and mentor within the department.

In 2008, Ali joined Salalah Port Services as an Institutional Officer, later advancing to Manager of Institutional Support, and currently, Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Social Responsibility. In these roles, he has been instrumental in streamlining administrative processes, fostering strong relationships with government entities, and leading the port’s social responsibility initiatives.

Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the College of Administrative and Human Sciences. He has continually invested in his professional growth, earning certifications such as:

Yellow Belt in Performance Excellence (global standards)

Multiple English language training courses (beginner to advanced)
