He has been instrumental in spearheading a landmark BP Oman project to establish a pioneering, fit-for-purpose maintenance execution service support contract. He led the technical team in competitive bidding, tendering, contractor transition, and ongoing operational delivery, prioritizing safety and business continuity

Beyond contract management, Ehsan oversees major shutdowns and maintenance of critical rotating equipment, including compressors and turbo expanders at the Khazzan facility, ensuring scope of works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. His deployment of activity integration workbench tool (AIW) , integration with OEMs, and optimization of standardized procedures have contributed to maintain excellent asset integrity and operational reliability records at Khazzan field.

Before his current role, Ehsan served as Acting Area Construction Manager during the execution of Khazzan Phase 2 Central Processing Facility. Here, he led structural and civil construction, championing safety culture and overseeing quality, safety, and schedule KPIs. His leadership in contractor performance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination was critical in maintaining project momentum and delivering timely, compliant results.
