Khalfan ALJABRI stands as a pillar of expertise with over 18 years of dedicated experience in the oil and gas sector, specializing in artificial lift systems and continuous rod technologies. Serving as Senior Coordinator at Desert Sand Oil & Gas LLC in Muscat, Oman, he plays a crucial role in optimizing Continue Rod and TMX Unit operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Mastering Complex Field Operations

Khalfan’s extensive technical skills cover a wide range of critical field operations, including fishing operations with both continuous and conventional rods, flushing wells using insertable pumps, tubing liner pumps, and progressive cavity pumps (PCP’s), as well as installing drive heads and rotor spacing. He is also adept at changing polish rods and stuffing boxes, along with handling all activities associated with running both continuous and conventional sucker rods.

Leadership in Coordination and Safety Training

In addition to supervising daily field activities, Khalfan meticulously coordinates and plans services, ensuring seamless operations. He trains workers rigorously on safety protocols and operational hazards, fostering a culture of awareness and precaution. His responsibilities include compiling detailed reports, maintaining spreadsheets, daily activity reporting, and tracking equipment usage and inventory.

Innovation in Welding and Equipment Maintenance

Khalfan is proficient in overseeing the fireblade welding process for continuous rods, ensuring high-quality and durable welds. His vigilant maintenance supervision guarantees all equipment is serviced regularly and kept in optimal working condition. Furthermore, he manages consumable products to provide workers with the necessary tools and materials to perform their duties safely and effectively.

Experience Across Leading Oil & Gas Companies

Before joining Desert Sand Oil & Gas LLC, Khalfan served as TMX Supervisor at Gulf Drilling LLC and as FBU & Continue Rod Supervisor at Weatherford, bringing invaluable field expertise. Early in his career, he worked as a Derickman at Midwesco Services LLC, gaining experience in well intervention, milling, fishing, cementing, acidizing, electric line operations, gas lift completions, and well completions for water disposal.
