Adnan oversees the complete Thermal EOR value chain: 50K m³/day water treatment, HRSGs & OTSGs steam generators, hot crude production, well testing, associated gas handling, and crude dispatch. His leadership extends to revolutionary MIRAAH project from concept to commissioning, the world’s first and largest solar steam generation project alongside Oil producers having Beam pumps, Rota flex, ESP, and PCP wells, ensuring optimal recovery from Heavy Oil challenging reservoirs.

Adnan leads large-scale expansions from FEED stage through HAZID/HAZOP/Retro-HAZOP, FAT/SAT, commissioning, start-ups, and seamless operational handover. Current portfolio includes HRSG03, Phase 2A WTP, and Phase 2A Offplot infrastructure with new wells, manifolds, and injectors. His end-to-end ownership delivers projects on time, within budget, and exceeding production targets through meticulous planning and execution.

Adnan’s 25-year expertise spans crude/gas processing, Sweetening, Dehydration, LPG recovery, Gas compression, artificial lift, EOR processes, water treatment, utilities, and Boilers. Adnan’s ADNOC tenure as Senior Operations Engineer (Acting Team Leader) at Buhasa Oil Field ADCO, controlled 700K BOPD Central Degassing Station, Remote Degassing Stations, high-pressure gas injection (400 Barg), and WAG well operations. Achieving five consecutive years of HSE excellence as departmental focal point, he led ICC exercises, implemented FDIS, Bow-Tie process safety, RCM, WIMS/AIMS, BCP, and online PTW systems while mastering critical shutdown supervision.

Foundational Operations: Pakistan’s Uch Gas Processing Plant

Early career commanding Uch Gas Processing Plant (300 MMSCFD sour gas treatment) built Adnan’s operational foundation: SCADA well control, Gas gathering/separation, MDEA sweetening, TEG Dehydration, HP/LP boilers, power turbines, and ATA shutdowns. This hands-on leadership across diverse geographies helped him gaining command in troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and upsizing techniques.
