A defining element of Marwan’s leadership is his ability to manage critical industrial turnarounds and restore peak operational performance. Through disciplined maintenance planning and strong operational oversight, he leads teams in the execution of complex planned and unplanned maintenance activities. He has a proven track record of managing Shutdown and Turnaround operations, seamlessly transitioning facilities back to safe and efficient production states.

Operating within demanding environments like the RPI SCU Plant and NGLE Plant, Marwan ensures that all corrective and preventive maintenance work orders are meticulously communicated and executed. His hands-on approach includes developing repair procedures, troubleshooting static and rotating equipment, and optimizing scaffolding resources to meet ambitious plant targets.

Strategic Project Leadership Across Diverse Sectors

With a career that spans the Oil and Gas, marine production, and real estate sectors, Marwan has cultivated a uniquely broad perspective on project leadership. He partners closely with central maintenance teams, operations departments, and contractors to proactively resolve technical issues and deliver results.

Beyond traditional industrial settings, his strategic project management experience includes human resource supervision, contracting operations, and business development. He has even contributed his MEP engineering expertise to building systems design and infrastructure projects. Notably, Marwan has served as a Project Leader for educational initiatives, championing e-learning platforms and interactive school programs.

By completing numerous Health, Safety, and Environment training programs, including earning an IVQ Level 1 in HSE from City and Guilds, he ensures total compliance with international safety regulations.

Serving as a Youth Council Member for the Oman Airports Management Company, he reported directly to the CEO.
