Since February 2026, Al Lawati has served as Director Environment Health Safety at OneSupply Oman in Muscat, overseeing responsibilities focused on environmental, health, and safety performance.

Prior to this appointment, he was Corporate HSE Manager at Petrofac from 2024 to 2026, where his experience further expanded into corporate-level HSE management.

His professional journey also includes nearly four years with OQ as Upstream Gas Network HSE, where he was responsible for HSE aspects associated with the upstream gas network and natural gas liquids extraction operations.

Al Lawati’s career has developed across several major energy organizations in Oman and the wider region.

At Oman Gas Company, he served as HSES Manager, following nearly two years as HSE Site Lead with BP at the Khazzan operation. Earlier, he held the position of HSE Superintendent at Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP).

His experience at OOCEP included implementing HSSE policies and strategies, supporting safety culture development, identifying and managing operational and major hazards, and ensuring appropriate mitigation, control, and recovery measures were established.

He also worked with contractors to support compliance with Omani occupational health requirements and contributed to the implementation of behavior-based safety practices across project environments.

Al Lawati’s professional expertise encompasses safety management systems, hazard analysis, incident investigation, regulatory and corporate compliance, quality management, technical reporting, and preventive action.

He subsequently progressed through field and project-level positions with OOCEP and BP before taking on management and network-level responsibilities with Oman Gas Company and OQ. His more recent positions at Petrofac and OneSupply Oman have expanded his leadership scope into corporate and director-level HSE responsibilities.
