With more than two decades of experience in drilling operations, fishing and milling services, and well intervention, Said has developed a reputation for delivering reliable solutions to technically demanding projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Said’s professional journey began in drilling operations before advancing into specialized fishing and milling services. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive experience across both onshore and offshore environments, working on complex intervention projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and rapid decision-making.
His expertise encompasses cased-hole and open-hole well interventions, internal and external fishing, junk recovery, washover operations, milling, cutting, and whipstock applications. This broad technical foundation has enabled him to successfully support critical drilling operations for major energy projects throughout the region.

As Operations Manager – Fishing & Milling Services at NESR, Said oversees operational delivery, technical execution, and service quality for specialized intervention projects across Oman. Prior to assuming this leadership role, he served as Operations & Technical Engineer and Fishing Tool Supervisor, steadily progressing through positions of increasing responsibility.
His leadership focuses on coordinating field operations, supporting technical teams, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring every project is executed in accordance with rigorous safety and quality standards.
By combining hands-on field experience with operational management, Said continues to help deliver dependable solutions for challenging well intervention requirements.
Before joining NESR, Said spent more than a decade with Weatherford, where he served as Field Operations Supervisor, following earlier roles as Fishing Tools Supervisor in both Oman and Saudi Arabia. These positions allowed him to develop extensive regional experience while supporting complex offshore and onshore drilling operations.
Earlier in his career, he also gained valuable operational experience with Gulf Energy and Sea & Land Drilling Services (SLB), building a comprehensive understanding of drilling operations and field execution that continues to strengthen his leadership today.
Throughout his career, safety has remained a defining priority. As an IWCF Supervisor Level-certified professional, Said consistently aligns operational practices with internationally recognized industry standards while promoting safe working environments across every project.
